The Honourable Graham Edwards - Government Liaison

Graham was born in Kalgoorlie and was educated at the Leederville Technical College in Perth, Australia. Graham saw active service in Vietnam with the 7th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment where he was wounded twice; the second time resulting in the amputation of both legs after a land mine incident in 1970.

Following an extensive period of rehabilitation Graham entered public life as a counselor with the City of Stirling. Graham served fourteen years in State Parliament during which time he held a number of Ministerial portfolios. Graham then went on to served three terms as the Federal Member for Cowan in Perth’s Northern suburbs. During this period Graham became involved with WFK.

Graham is now retired however he continues his association with WFK. Graham is also an Ambassador for the disability focussed charity Workability, which supports people living with a disability in finding and maintaining sustainable employment.
